Solstice/ Christmas/ Hannukah/ Winter Holiday Celebration & Potluck Lunch
Dec 21, 2025, right after church service, approximately 12:45 start, until whenever we want, everyone welcome (please bring a friend or family member)
Our annual winter celebration is coming up and it will be so much fun!
Please bring a contribution for a potluck lunch if you can! We also invite someone to buy & cook an organic turkey if they like: up to $100 can be reimbursed for this purchase with a receipt. Please let someone on the board know if you would like to take on bringing a cooked turkey.
We will enjoy food & conversation together. Musical contributions are also most welcome. Shall we do a bit of dancing?
We will have our traditional “silly santa” gift exchange. You are invited to bring a gift or few, that is something from your home that you no longer need, is in good condition, and you think someone else might like. Bring it wrapped with no label or name on it, & participate in choosing & swapping gifts around the circle. Always good for some laughs!

I have sat Vippasana & Zen meditations. Done a lot of qi gong & sat with various spiritual teachers over the years. I now have modified it all into a western approach via brain wave research, atomic level biology & finding myself as various bodymind states that seem to be related to levels of memory. I keep reaching out to academia, other deep divers of inner inquiry & various perceptive others to try find common ground. It would be great if others came…. I will likely offer what I can to whoever comes….

MOVING JOURNEYS – Slow Flow Free Movement
*founded by and for those with health issues and their allies*
Free flow movement sessions for womxn of all abilities. Chairs are available for those who prefer seated dance. You have freedom to move or not—as you wish.
New world music selections weekly. Music is slow flow with some rhythm. Examples: Luke Howard | Jaja | Zal Sissokho | Deya Dova | Clemens Christian Poetzsch.

Moving in the Mystery of Dark Times with Penny Allport
A movement inquiry based in Continuum (www.continuumteachers.com), and How Life Moves,(Kevin Frank & Caryn McHose)
A movement inquiry, incorporating explorations of breath, sound and movement. An elemental and evolutionary approach to movement, including perceptual practices of awareness in class and everyday life, …for sensuous support as we, linger in the darkness of not knowing … crossing thresholds of transformation in the body, movement and life.
Here, we will embrace a species-inclusive awareness, including and incorporating movement gestures from earlier times, nature’s infinite and exquisite gestures, remembering and reclaiming our timeless instinctual nature, …to meet these dark days of winter …and the darkness of these times.
An opportunity for weekly connection, diving together in the deep-end of life, welcomed by frequencies of a future calling us into becoming the human’s kind we are called to be. Where visceral joy and engagement with fierce and fiery forces of creation can find us resting in love’s embrace.
All bodies welcome!
